Joy Hotel location is excellent. I travelled to Florence by train from Milan. Joy Hotel is only 5 minutes' walk from train station. I was able to check into my room 3 hours before the regular time. Then I walked across the street to have a wonderful Florence steak for lunch. All other Florence attractions are also only 15 to 20 minutes away. When I left Florence through Florence airport, it was even more convenient. The T2 ram is just around the corner. It only costs 1.5 euro and 20 minutes to airport. If I will ever visit Florence, I definitely will check into Joy Hotel again.

This modern hotel has a cosy atmosphere, the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and the hotel - both public and private spaces remained spotless throughout the stay. The room wasn't large by any means, but it was comfortable, and had everything I needed. I really enjoyed the styling of the room.

The hotel is located 2 mins by walk from S.M.N. station and 5 mins by walk from the centre. Quiet aerea and there are nice bar, restaurants nearby. I booked 2 rooms (1 single and 1 smart double) which have been upgraded to a double room and double with balcony. Amenities proivded in the room were coffee, teas, towels, hairdryer, soap, body cream, slippers, wifi, tv, and a complimentary bottle of water and a chocolate upon arrival. Rooms are also very clean, and the bed is super comfortable. The staff, is very welcoming and made us feel home all the time. A particular thank you to Brenda, Mattia, Roberta, Christian, Ericson who made our stay special. Thank you! I would definetely reccommend Joy Hotel if you like to have a pleasant, comfortable stay in Florence.

The location was excellent - very close to the Florence Central station. The staff - all of them - were polite, friendly and caring. We were pleasantly surprised that we got an upgrade on our room since it was available! We felt the hospitality warmth all through our stay and enjoyed the feeling! And, the breakfast was superlative - good variety of dishes to satisfy all types of needs. The catering lady was very friendly, ever ready to serve the dishes we wanted and catered to our personal needs (for example - type of coffee, amount of milk, degree of hotness etc. ) We were truly touched and very pleased; we felt happy to have chosen the BF option. All in all the stay at Hotel Joy was Excellent!

The staff were excellent and helpful. Lovely lounge off reception, where we were given a slightly early check-in with free coffee and cake! The rooms are small but okay, with quality decor, fittings, and fixtures. The lady at breakfast, in particular, was a breath of fresh air, and the choice for breakfast of hot and cold items was welcomed. The hotel was happy that we waited in the lounge for our train after checking out and spending a day at the shops. It is in a great location to walk into all the main sites that need to be seen in Florence. Nice surrounding area with plenty of eateries if you don't want to venture too far of an evening. We highly recommend this hotel as good value for money.

I liked the location near the central station. The staff was very friendly and the girl from the reception even escorted me to my room on the 3rd floor right afther the check-in and showed me the room briefly. I liked that there were free tea bags and a water kettle in the room. The breakfast was also good. The girl working at the buffet was always in a good singing mood. :) I also liked that there was free cake and detox water in the lobby at the afternoon until the evening. I had a very pleasant stay!

the great welcoming staff , I remember Franco, Alexandra and Roberta …all the team was very helpful and smiling all the time … very supportive staff all the time . the location was amazing and about 3 min walking distance to the central train station the hotel located in front of one of the 101 best steak restaurants in the world , worth to try during your visit . this hotel is our must to visit destination for future bookings during visiting Florence ⚜️

Love the location. Almost right outside the train station. It is also along the street of the bus stops so great for those planning to have day trips outside of Florence. It's also in a non touristy neighborhood, but still an easy walk to the sites in Florence. There's a cafe along the street, Le Sorelline, which I absolutely adore. We didn't book breakfast but had pastries and coffee at this cafe everyday. Service was excellent. We couldn't check-in early but they allowed us to use their restrooms and leave our luggage as we got to Florence super early in the morning via sleeper train from Vienna. When we got back past our check-in time, they already transferred our bags to our room. Room was immaculate, well appointed. Temperature was easy to control. Desk was perfect for those who need to work. It was quite pricey for us, but it was money well spent.

I was actually proposed to while staying in this hotel! It was a wonderful stay with the friendliest staff. The kitchen staff at breakfast were more than amazing making us extra cookies, smoothies, etc each morning and were so fun and friendly! It was so close to the train station and the main square. Thank you to this hotel for making our wonderful engagement even more enjoyable. We will be back again for sure.
